Using the Nokia Pure font as a
starting point, the spaces between
each of the letters that spell out
the word ‘pure’ were selected and
allocated their own colours.
The resulting shapes were silkscreen
printed – one on top of the other –
in blue, black, warm grey and
silver inks
–
There are 24 ink layering
combinations possible from printing
these four shapes on top of each
other, but only one of these was
printed for the Nokia Pure launch
(in a special edition of 20 prints).
Eight of the remaining 23 ink layering
combinations are also shown here
